Dan Elliot

EMTP, RRT, CAE, CTE, Registered Respiratory Therapist

Dan comes to us with many years of emergency medicine and rescue experience and was considered an airway management expert by his peers. He stepped away from paramedicine to become a Respiratory Therapist and then furthered his education and skills with Certified Asthma Educator and Certified Tobacco Educator designations. He is excited to expand the role of Respiratory Therapy in the community, and around the world.

As an organizational member of Respiratory Therapists without Borders and the Director of International Relations, Dan is constantly at the forefront of seeking ways to advance respiratory health and education and to promote the culture of giving back to the global community.

Dan’s winter passion is snowboarding and is an active member of the Canadian Ski Patrol locally, and contributes to the educational process at the provincial level. He also acts as a pre-hospital and rescue advisor for the organization at the national level. Dan is also the President of London Track 3 Ski School. Its mission is to provide a safe, enjoyable and rewarding downhill skiing or snowboarding experience for persons with a variety of physical and/or intellectual challenges and to further provide an enriching volunteer experience for students and adults alike. He is motivated, not discouraged by challenges, and seeks out opportunities to better the organizations he is involved with.
